St. Patrick's Parade

Saturday, March 13, 2010 3:00 p.m.
This parade boasts Leprechaun stilt walkers, an Irish Queen and her court, bands, and a whole lot of Irish Shenanigans! The parade is located on Main Street from 6th Street to 4th Avenue in downtown St. Charles and is produced by the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce and the St. Patrick's Parade Committee in cooperation with the City of St. Charles and the St. Charles Jaycees.For more information, call Debbie Treutler at the Chamber of Commerce: 630-584-8384.

Sisters Weekend

April 23 - 25, 2010
Bring your sisters, mom, aunts and girlfriends to downtown St. Charles for the 7th annual Sisters Weekend. Treat yourself and your “sisters of all sorts” to an indulgent weekend filled with pampering, shopping, relaxing and reconnecting. The 12th annual St. Charles Fine Art Show will present nearly 100 of the best artists from across the country, alongside the east side of the Fox River on First Avenue, between Main Street and Illinois Avenue. This award-winning juried show featuring a variety of media including watercolor, oil, glass, wood, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry and photography. Entrance and parking are free. Rain or shine. Sculpture in the Park

May - September 2010

Concerts in the Park

Farmer's Market

Bob Leonard 5K Run & Walk-A-Thon

Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Fox River in downtown St. Charles during the 3rd Annual Bob Leonard 5K Run & Walk-A-Thon Saturday, August 7, 2010. You are invited to participate in this event starting at the Grand Pavilion in Pottawatomie Park in either the 5K Run beginning at 8:00 a.m. or the Walk-A-Thon beginning at 9:00 a.m. The 5K course will take runners across the river and north while the walkers will journey on a 2.7 mile trek south to Mt. St. Mary Park before returning once again to Pottawatomie Park. All are invited to stay for raffle prize drawings, refreshments and musical entertainment provided by Jeff Leonard of Hartland, WI, immediately following the activities. For the $25 entry fee, everyone will receive an event t-shirt. For a minimum donation of $50 in pledges, each person will receive an event t-shirt, a River Corridor Foundation beach towel and entry into the prize drawing.
